On the 4th of January 2008, Mandira Bedi and Navjot Singh Sidhu's Funjabbi Chak De, witnesses one such talent. Malay Sen, an aspiring musician from Kolkata makes his way into the lime light; being the first Indian to play music with utensils, and with a rare talent of playing the tabla beats with his cheeks, Malay surely seems to have God's gift in music. The Telly Buzz team talks to the young musician about his experience on being in the show…

Wonder what inspires the young Malay? "Music has been the biggest inspiration for me from a very early age of 5. I began learning tabla then, and hence began my journey with various Gurus of the musical world. I aim to touch the highest peak as far as musical notes are concerned". When asked whether he idolizes anyone from Bollywood, the man quickly replied, "A.R. Rehman inspires me the most. I just hope I get to work with him some day…"
