Ssudeep Sahir roped in opposite Anchal Sahu for Parineeti: REPORTS

Colors TV's Parineeti has been one of the longest running shows on the channel. Starring Anchal Sahu, Tanvi Dogra and Ankur Verma in the lead roles, the show is now gearing up for another exciting twist as a result of which, the makers of Parineeti have roped in a popular face for the show.

As per a report in the Times Of India, Ssudeep Sahir has been roped in to essay a pivotal role in the show. The actor last seen in 'Tera Yaar Hoon Main,' is making a comeback on television after three years. As per the portal, Ssudeep will be paired opposite Anchal Sahu in the show and his character will be that of a 'mature individual.' ''To add more drama and excitement to the plot, we decided to introduce a new character who will be a mature individual. Ssudeep's character will cross paths with Pari (played by Anchal Sahu), and his entry will bring a new level of intensity to the lives of the existing cast. He is expected to start shooting in the next couple of days,'' a source tells the portal.

While Ssudeep is yet to comment on the same, he had earlier expressed his desire to essay 'negative and grey' characters to the portal. The actor believes that such characters have more layers to explore and that they offer more scoop to the actor.

Parineeti is produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms. The story of the show revolves around two bestfriends unknownigly marrying the same boy and how their lives alter post that. While Anchal is seen essaying a positive character, Tanvi's character remains negative.
