Srishty Rode to enter Saraswatichandra in a modern look!

Bubbly Srishty Rode will soon seen in Star Plus' popular show Saraswatichandra as Anushka. She will be paired opposite Kabir (Ashish Kapoor) in the show. Srishty was last seen in Punar Vivaah Ek Nayi Umeed and is coming back on television after a long break.

She will be seen as a modern girl who has come down to Gujarat as the guest in Vyas family.

We got in touch with Srishty to know more about the same and she says, Yes, I am back on television after a long time and apna boriya bistar lekar I have come on the sets of Saraswatichandra (Laughs). I am playing the character of Anushka who is a nice modern girl; she is bubbly, full of life and does lots of Bak bak in the show. We have shot for the sequence where it will be shown that I will enter Saraswatichandra's house and everybody will welcome me. I am really happy to play this character as it is very much like Shrishty. My look is the show is similar to my look in the real life. I hope my viewers will be able to recognize me as I am always seen in Saarees on television."

She has already started shooting for the show. The cast and crew of the show welcomed her very pleasingly on their sets. As Srishty and Gautam share the same second name which makes everyone think that they both are siblings, so to clear the doubt we asked Srishty regarding the same and she laughingly says, "People and viewers always used to ask me whether I am related to Gautam Rode or not? So now I will say yes we are related as we are in the same show (laughs). We are not brother and sister but we are co-stars. Gautam is really a nice guy and I have not yet shot with him but will shoot with him soon."
