Srijit Mukherji opens on his vision for creating 'Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke', Regina's role and other things

On 26th January, Zee5 released a new show titled 'Jaanbaaz Hindustan Ke' Chandan Roy, Barun Sobti, Sumeet Vyas Mita Vashisht, Regina Cassandra, and others feature in the Hindi action-thriller series  It is produced by Juggernaut Productions, helmed by the National Award winner Srijit Mukherji.

While fans have been loving the show, India Forums got into a conversation with the captain of the ship, Srijit and discussed his views on the show, his point of view on the character and other things.

When asked about the vision behind making a web show like this, Srijit said,

"The idea, the genre was developed by me and Zee5, and Juggernaut also came on board. We were discussing the various stories of valor and bravery from our incredible police forces across the country. So we took all these anecdotes and stories and put them together under one person’s life story and that’s how the fictional character of Kadya Iyer was born. And one of the USP of the show is that these stories are generated from across the country."

He further added, 

"Visually and sound wise we hear and watch a show which travels us to the length and the breadth of India. We start with Shilong, Guwathi. Then we go to Jaipur-Jaiselmer. Then we come to Kochi. We also shot in Mumbai. It’s a very diverse approach to the typical action-cop thriller genre."

When asked about how was it directing Regina and what made her a fi for this role, he expressed, 

"She is very intelligent. She is very perceptive and gives it all. She contributes to the show even beyond the capacity of an actor and beyoud her character and the best things that she is very athletic and fit so she could do all the stunts."

The show is currently streaming on Zee5 and has been receiving rave reviews from the audiences.
