Recently, the Supreme Court lifted the ban imposed on Sreesanth for his involvement in the spot-fixing scandal during IPL, 2013. Judges Ashok Bhushan and KM Joseph from the Supreme Court took into consideration that the former Cricketer has been out of action for the past 5 years. Though, the court has not found him to be innocent but believes the punishment was too harsh and it needs to be altered. The court had asked BCCI's disciplinary committee to decide the quantum of punishment for Sreesanth in three months from the date of hearing.
