Splitsvilla winner, Priya Shinde tries her hand in TV...

Priya Shinde, the winner of MTV India Splitsvilla have moved to television and her first stint will be a daily soap.

Priya will be doing a short cameo in Colors' Hamari Saas Leela where she will play the character of Anu's (Swati Kapoor) friend.

Priya Shinde confirmed her new move by stating, "Yes it's a short cameo that I am doing in Hamari Saas Leela. I will be playing a spoil brat, a very bubbly outgoing girl who loves to take challenges. We will be a gang of four girls including the main lead Anu who loves to have fun. It's just an episodic. Actually after winning Splitsvilla I have done two Marathi movies and recently shifted to Mumbai to get a main lead in a daily soap but nothing clicked. So when I got this offer I immediately took it up as the character is quite similar to what I am. I will get a chance to explore a TV soap by doing this cameo."

When asked about her prize that she won at Splitsvilla, she said," We got a cash price and also they had promised us a show to host together."
