Sony TV's Metti Oli put on hold...

Tellybuzz earlier reported about the development of UTV's next big project on Sony TV which is the remake of the popular Tamil show Metti Oli. We have also reported that Eijaz Khan and Neha Janpandit will be essaying the leads of the show.

But the latest buzz is that the production house has decided to put the show on hold.

A source says,"Since Chajje Chajje Ka Pyaar is tipped to go off air, the channel had already given the permission to start the shoot as soon as possible. Last minute replacement of Neha Janpandit by Anjali Abrol was done for this as the channel wanted Neha to be there in their next show. It was decided by the channel that Metti Oli would replace Chhajje Chajje. But unexpectedly certain issues cropped up within the production house."

We contacted Neha Janpandit and she commented,"Yes, the shoot of the show has been put the show on hold, but I don't know about the further developments."

Hope the issues get sorted and Sony comes up with their new show!
