Sony TV show Crime Patrol Dastak completes 1000 episodes

Sony TV's longest running popular crime thriller show Crime Patrol has a loyal fan base and people love watching it despite it being a crime show with no popular mainstream actors. The show depicts real life crimes being committed and how it were solved by the police. The show has consistently brought to light the criminal cases that shook the nation and has taken the onus to spread awareness in the nation against such cases.

Well, the big news is that Crime Patrol: Dastak has now successfully completed 1000 episodes. The show first aired in May 2003 and since then has been a pioneer in the crime genre.

Actor and host Anup Soni who has hosted the show for a long span of time says, "This is a show which can go on and on and it's one of the best shows in it's genre.
