Sonarika Bhadoria on still not getting her dues from 'Dastaan-E-Mohabbat' makers

Actor Sonarika Bhadoria has had an interesting journey on the small screen. After being a household name with her role in Devon Ke Dev. Mahadev, she has almost absent from TV for several years.

After five years, she made her comeback to the small screen with Prithvi Vallabh and then starred in the historical film, Dastaan-E-Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali and then in Ishq Mein Marjawan.

But since that, Bhadoria has been missing in action yet again where it has been almost three years.

Talking about that first with ETimes TV, she said, "I had shot for a film before the pandemic. The film is completely ready for theatrical release. The movie's release is getting postponed because of the pandemic as while during the first and second wave of the pandemic multiplexes were closed, the occupancy during the third wave wasn't that much."

As one would remember, Bhadoria and other cast members of the show, Dastaan-E-Mohabbat Salim Anarkali were in the news recently for not getting their due from the makers. Talking about it, she said, "It's been three years and I have still not been paid my dues. Apart from me, the dues of several other actors and technicians from the same show are pending. It was my worst time. Firstly, the first wave of COVID-19 had hit us, and then there was this issue of non-payment. We actors have this life of daily digging the well to drink water. I wish I get paid soon. Everything from my end in terms of legal formalities and paperwork is done."

We certainly hope the same.
