When Sonam Kapoor and her I Hate Luv Storys director Punit Malhotra appeared 'together-together' for various promotions for their film - sparks were witnessed and

speculations were rife. However, the couple decided to pull off the trite 'just friends' whenever they were interrogated about the alleged alliance.

More recently, rumours have been harder to quell. The duo were seen together again, for their common friend Imran Khan's Mere Brother Ki Dulhan's success bash - where the love was evident to a blind man - they remained utterly inseparable for the evening, for two people who are nothing but friends. The fondness of gestures has been confirmed by sources inside of the party scene. Otherwise, they were also seen grouping and chatting up with the other on-and-off duo of young tycoon Siddhart Mallya and Deepika Padukone.

While confirmation remains un-granted; if the history of 'just friends' is to be traced and taken into account in tinsel town – there's ample reason to believe Sonam and Punit to be an item!
