Creative changes in the story line often lead to actors quitting their shows owing to lack of satisfaction with their characters. And, while that is a common phenomena, what is rather rare is when even before their entry, actors opt out from the shows.

Sonam Lamba, popular for her character of Vidya in Star Plus' show, Saath Nibhana Saathiya, was supposed to enter Sony TV show, Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya

Her character was that of Meethi, whose entry would have been integral in bringing about a twist in Ratan (Rohit Suchanti) and Diya's (Tejasswi Prakash) love story.

However, looks like that will not be happening as she has decided to withdraw herself from the show owing to creative changes in the track ahead which were made post the character narration.

In contrast to what was supposed to happen on a grander scale, the creative changes have brought about a change in the same.

We contacted Sonam, who said, "There was a change of story and hence, I decided to opt out. It was a mutual decision."

Currently, the makers are on a lookout for her replacement.
