Sonali goes all out for girls...

Sonali Bendre is a staunch woman supporter and this is very much visible on Indian Idol. The glamorous actress leaves no stone unturned when it comes to motivating the girls and urging them on. She is particularly vocal in her support for Shini Kalvint, the only married girl in the show. Perhaps, her own marital status helps her see Shini’s position in a different light.

This week was no different as Sonali was quick to walk up to a sobbing Tullika and put her hand over her and offered her all the support. Tullika had a particularly trying evening when first her best friend Mohit was in the danger zone, and then later her friend Priyanka said she had switched loyalties to others. A few comforting words from Sonali and a warm hug from Priyanka did a world of good for Tullika and all was well with her again!

Well, it takes a woman to understand a woman after all…
