Sohum Shah’s preparations for Reema Kagti's 'Fallen'; Sources say he met real local cops...

Sohum Shah is currently stationed in Rajasthan where he is shooting for his upcoming project, a web show directed by Reema Kagti titled 'Fallen'. Playing the role of a cop for the first time he is preparing in so many ways to get it right.

Having the lead role, he is making sure he gets all the nuances and mannerisms of a cop just right. A source close to the actor shared, "Sohum is hard at work in Rajasthan, during the first schedule he actually met local policemen to gather all the understanding and took personal notes about their mannerisms. His dialect is natural as his roots lie in Rajasthan, still he working closely with a vocal coach in the team who helps him rectify and improvise his dialect."

Adding further the source mentioned, "For Sohum, this script was impressive, when he met Reema the two discussed his character and she liked some of the ideas Sohum proposed. He trained well to don a police uniform for the first time that was accompanied by intense research on how a policeman speaks and works."

Fallen involves a star-studded star cast along with Sohum Shah, there are Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Varma and Gulshan Devaiah. Sohum's exceptional performance is still as fresh, movies like Ship of Theseus, Talvar and Tumbbad have created enormous waves of fans for the actor.
