The pandemic, as we know, has led to an array of people losing out on work and while the entertainment industry was indeed one of the worst hit ones, they have adapted and are currently shooting in different cities to keep the show going on.
But in this period, several actors are in fact choosing not to work and one of them is actor Smita Bansal. The actor is a veteran of the small screen and was a part of Aladdin - Naam Toh Suna Hoga last where the show went off-air in January earlier this year. Ever since, she has not taken up any other project and is in no hurry to do so too. Talking about it with ETimes TV, Bansal said, "I am currently just taking rest, spending time with my family and staying safe. I was in Jaipur with my parents for around two months along with my daughters and husband. We thought of visiting them for a week, but traveling back wasn't safe, so we stayed there and had a good time together. There was no work stress as it was work from home for my husband and online schooling for my kids."
When asked about hoping to get back to work soon, she said, "Earlier I was someone who didn't want to relax. Then this 'relaxing period' was forced on me and now I am actually enjoying it. I anyway don't jump from one show to another and always like some gap in between. All shootings shifted to different cities, so it's better I stay at home and be safe. I have not really missed working and it's that phase of my life where I am okay relaxing at home. Work is something that will keep happening because offers are coming my way, but the project too needs to be good for me to accept it."
