'Slumdog Millionaire' fame Sharib Hashmi to make his debut in digital space

Actor Sharib Hashmi, best known for his Oscar winning film, Slumdog Millionaire, is all set to step into the digital world. The actor is all geared up to start his new innings with an upcoming web series.

Reports suggest that the web series will be a musical comedy and the Filmistaan fame actor will play the role of a protagonist. The actor will be essaying the role of a guy-next-door and acclaimed director Ajay K Pannalal will be helming the project.

It will be a limited series of 10-13 episodes which will be streamed by the OTT platform - Viu.

A few media reports also suggest that the shoot will commence on April 1st. Well, we are certain that it will surely be a treat to watch the actor on the digital platform.
