Sirf Tum fame Sonya Samoor reveals what brought her closer to her religion and culture

Actress Sonya Saamoor, who is a popular name in the entertainment industry, recently visited the sacred temple, Trimbakeshwar and offered prayers to god. Recently, in an interaction with us, Sonya talked about the reason behind visiting the temple and the experience she had.

The actress says, “We all go through tough times and it’s only during our rough patches we meet our true friends. I do believe that you win some, you lose some, but amid the entire process, the only person you shouldn’t lose is yourself. I have gone through times and, honestly, 2023 wasn’t easy on me..I realised that I feel at peace in the divine and I wish to do more of what makes me happy. ”

Talking about her recent visit to Trimbakeshwar temple, Sonya says, “Tough times brought me closer to the divine, my culture, roots and my religion. To be honest, never in my life did I think I would visit temples, but here I am. Recently, I went to Trimbakeshwar to take the blessings of god and I must say it was surreal. I offered my prayers to Lord Shiva and spent some time just sitting and meditating there.”
