Singer Siddharth Basrur is honoured to open the show for late Indian sitar legend Ravi Shankar's daughter Norah Jones' performance at the 'A Summer's Day' music festival, to be held in Mumbai Sunday.

Singer Siddharth Basrur is honoured to open the show for late Indian sitar legend Ravi Shankar's daughter Norah Jones' performance at the 'A Summer's Day' music festival, to be held in Mumbai Sunday.

"I am really looking forward to it. She is a huge artist and it is a huge honour to be playing for her. I hope everything goes off well," Basrur told IANS.

The singer has also just released the first part of his album "Chasing Rain Chapter 1" online and will be performing some tracks from it at the event too.

"I am really excited about it. I just released the first part of my debut album too and I will be performing some tracks from it as well," he said.

The singer also added that he is hoping to get a chance to interact with Norah Jones, a Grammy award-winning music artist.

"I don't know if I will get a chance to interact with her, but I am hoping I do," said Basrur, who sung two tracks for Bollywood film "Haunted - 3D".
