Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ranveer Singh mourn the demise of Gully Boy rapper MC Tod Fod
Bollywood actor Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ranveer Singh took to their respective social media handle to mourn the demise of Gully Boy rapper MC Tod Fod as the artist breathed his last at the age of 24.

Earlier today, a piece of heartbreaking news made rounds in the B town, as Rapper MC Tod Fod aka Dharmesh Parmar passed away at the age of 24.
For those unfamiliar, MC Tod Fod was one of the soundtrack artists for Ranveer Singh, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Alia Bhatt's 2019 film Gully Boy. While the cause of the 24-year-old rapper's death is unknown, his untimely passing has triggered a wave of mourning throughout showbiz.
Amid this, taking to his Instagram Story, Ranveer shared a picture of the rapper who lent his voice to the song 'India 91' for 'Gully Boy'. He added a broken heart emoticon.
Meanwhile, Siddhant has also resorted to social media to express his sorrow over the death of MC Tod Fod. The Gehraiyaan actor posted a photo of the late rapper on his Instagram account, along with a screenshot of his post-Gully Boy conversation with MC Tod Fod.
During their conversation, Siddhant had lauded MC Tod Fod’s track India 91 from Gully Boy. To this, the latter was overwhelmed and told Siddhant,
“Tum bahut real ho bhai..mujhe sachem tumhare energy se laga ke tum ek rapper ho!”
Sharing the conversation, Siddhant wrote, “RIP bhai! @todfod” along with a broken heart emoticon.
The cause of MC Tod Fod's death has not been revealed. He was associated with the Mumbai based hip hop collective 'Swadesi'.
He was also a part of Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy' and also contributed a verse to the song 'India 91' from the film.
Reportedly, an investigation is currently going on to find out the reason behind the rapper's death.
