Shruti Seth HATES publicising her social deeds!

The drought has become a subject of National emergency in Maharashtra. With various farmers committing suicide, a lot of people including students have come together to raise funds for the needy. So much that the government decided to shift the IPL cricket matches out of the state owing to the acute water crises. 

The Television fraternity has not only addressed such issues as an add on to their entertainment. And now, the very talented Shruti Seth (currently seen in Comedy Nights Bachao on Colors) has come forward to raise funds to combat the situation. 

The fine-looking lady raised one lakh rupees to provide water tankers which were sent to the villagers living in the drought affected areas. 

She tweeted:

When we called up Shruti, she said, "This is not something that I did as a publicity gimmick. Hence, I would not like to talk about it."

It's hard to find someone who works for a cause and not applause!
