This National Tourism Day, &TV artist Shrenu Parikh (Genda Agarwal, Ghar Ek Mandir-Kripa Agrasen Maharaja Ki) and Soma Rathod (Amma Ji, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai) share their favourite tourist destinations in Gujarat.
Shrenu Parikh who is essaying the role of Genda Agarwal in &TV’s Ghar Ek Mandir-Kripa Agrasen Maharaja Ki says, “I take full pride of being a Gujarat born. Gujarat is extremely popular for heavy tourist footfalls across seasons. From the mesmerizing Great Rann of Kutch to the Hills of Saputara, Gujarat offers some of the most picturesque beauty for tourists. Talking about my hometown Ahmedabad, it is an incredible blend of age-old historical monuments and modern age design buildings. One can have the best of both worlds, by diving into the history and traditions and at the same time witness contemporary constructions, industries, multiplexes with good urban planning.
There are numerous iconic spots that one must visit before leaving the city like Sabarmati Ashram, Akshardham Temple, Kankaria Lake, Bhadra Fort, Patang Kite Museum which is the second kite museum in the entire world, etc.”
Soma Rathod who plays the role of Amma ji in &TV’s Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai shares, “Gujarat is a culturally rich state known for its exquisite charm and uniqueness. It is bestowed with numerous religious sites which play a key role in state tourism. People from across the world visit the state to experience Khushboo Gujarat Ki. This Indian state has a plethora of attractions such as world’s largest white desert, habitat of Asian Lions, ancient Buddhist caves, Marine national park and the list goes on and on making Gujarat every wanderlust’s go-to travel destination.”
