Shoma Munshi's 'Prime Time Soap Operas on Indian Television'...

The popular Bahus of Indian Television, Tulsi, Parvati, Prerna, Sadhana and Ragini along with Saloni find a place in the cover of Shoma Munshi's book that examines prime time soap operas on Indian television.

The book titled 'Prime Time Soap Operas on Indian Television' closely examines the five prime time soaps – Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kasutii Zindagi Kii, Saat Phere..Saloni Ka Safar and Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai, and analyzes how prime time soaps work as flagship programs and brands for television channels.

The writer Shoma Munshi presented the book to Producer of Bidaai, Rajan Shahi on the sets of the show. The actors of Bidaai, Sara Khan, Naveen Saini, Ashita Dhawan, Vibha Chibber were present on the sets during the occasion.

The author was all praise for Rajan Shahi who had co-operated with her during her research visits to the town earlier. Rajan Shahi and Sara Khan got a personal copy of the book.
