Shivani Kothari: The current track will see Sai face a lot of challenges in 'Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin'

Actress Shivani Mukesh Kothari, who is currently seen in the role of Maya Xaviers in TV show 'Kaamnaa', has joined the cast of another popular show 'Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin'.

Shivani will essay a nurse in the show, and talking the thought process behind taking up the role, she said,

''Cockcrow & Shaika Entertainment is a family thing and I really appreciate the fact that they keep believing in me and offering me such character roles. I am doing Kaamna, I play Maya, and there was no pressure as such but as an actor, I really wanted to be vulnerable and see what genre can I fit into. So I wanted to try that out and this character is very ruthless, and cut throat, and she has no empathy whatsoever, and I want to get into that character and see if I could pull it off. I wanted to do this on my personal experience.''

About the twists and turns, she said,

''She is going to bring in twists and turns, I can't reveal much but she will get a lot of surprise for Sai and Virat, because Dr Thurat is also there, he will be played by Jiten Lalwani, and I think the current track will see Sai face a lot of challenges and we will see her overcome them.''

On juggling between two shows, and working with the team, she says,

''The team is fantastic, and the entire cast and crew has been very very sweet, and I keep looking for opportunities like these in the future as well, so I want to thank everyone who believes that I could pull this off. On juggling between the two shows, she said, ''I like this hectic schedule, and this is what I have always wanted to do as an actor, I did not want to sit idol. Since both shows are from the same production, they make it easy for me to juggle, because they know everything.''

Meanwhile, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin continues to hold onto its spot on the TRP charts.
