Shilpa Shinde on being unhappy with her role in 'Maddam Sir'

Actor Shilpa Shinde continues to be best remembered for her role as Angoori Bhabhi in Bhabiji Pakde Hai but after winning Bigg Boss 11, Shinde would be verbal on how she doesn't want to take up TV shows in the fiction space.

Since then, the actor appeared in multiple reality shows, the latest one being Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 10. But now, after all this time, Shinde took up a cameo role in Sab TV's Maddam Sir. 

Her promo created quite a stir and her track has on-air for a few days now.

However, recent update suggests that the actor has been rather unhappy with her track progression so far.

In an interview with ETimes, Shinde said how her character of Naina Mathur was a cameo and it was going to last for 10-15 days. She mentioned that she took it up as she found it challenging. However, after shooting for a few days, she was told to take a break. In fact, she was told while shooting for the show that it was going to wrap up and have a second season later.

She then said that she has been wondering what is happening to her track and also how if she was told that she has to take a break like this, she wouldn't have taken up the show.

When producer Jay Mehta was contacted for the same, he only that she is doing a cameo and doing really well on the show.
