Shikhar Dhawan reveals how he messages son Zoravar even though he is blocked

Shikhar Dhawan and Ayesha Mukherjee were married from 2012 to 2021. While the initial phase of their relationship was blissful, the divorce was a rather messy one. Their son Zoravar who was born in 2014 stays in Australia with his mother. Shikhar Dhawan has said that Ayesha Mukherjee has blocked him on all platforms and does not let him converse with his son. The Delhi Court granted a divorce to Dhawan on the grounds of cruelty. Apparently, the cricketer bought properties in Australia for his ex-wife and even supported her two daughters from the first marriage. It seems she was not ready to settle down in India. Shikhar Dhawan has not seen his son in past three years and expressed his anguish on social media.

In the interview, he said that he imagines being with his son. He said he tells himself via affirmations and manifestations that Zoravar still loves him. Shikhar Dhawan said when he gets to meet his son he will hug him. The cricketer says he knows him being sad won’t bring his Zoravar back to him. Netizens said this is indeed heartbreaking and cruel. Of late, people have been speaking up against cruelty inflicted on men through alienation of children in cases of ugly separation.

His wife is now an entrepreneur in Australia where she gives motivational coaching. Ayesha Mukherjee was a friend of Harbhajan Singh who introduced her to Shikhar Dhawan. They fell in love quickly and she tied the knot with him. The cricketer would post family pics with his three children including the daughters from the past marriage.

Shikhar Dhawan put up a glorious show in the Nepal Premier League. Many fans wanted to see him in the IPL 2025 but BCCI does not allow desi players to be part of international leagues. Hence he is disqualified.
