Bigg Boss 13 contestant Shehnaaz Gill might not have won the show but she has definitely won hearts and how. Gill went on to speak about staying positive in a recent interview with The Times of India. The Punjabi singer says that it is not easy to be happy given the crisis but one can try to stay calm. She added how her aunt tested positive recently and suffered from severe symptoms, and she wishes him a speedy recovery.
Shehnaaz, who is currently in Mumbai, says she missed her family in Punjab and keeps in touch through the virtual world. She said, “I miss them a lot and make video calls every evening. I tell them to show me around and talk to everyone in the house. It gives me a feeling that they are around me.”
Further, as for the negativity around her, she says that post Bigg Boss, she believes in keeping it at bay and feels that everyone will have their time. She added how she believes in hard work pays off and she, therefore, focuses on working to improve her skills while not compare herself with anyone since that only causes hatred and jealousy. She further mentioned how her attitude has helped her sail through tough times.
Given how there is an instant reaction in the industry with so many mediums where fans and others get to say both the good and bad, about dealing with the negativity, she says that though it is not easy to look away, she tries to ignore them and does wish well even for her detractors. She feels that those who love her will not bother and will only be concerned about her work. She added how she has faced a lot of hardships and though she is not saying that she hasn't made mistakes, she feels that the good part is she knows how to tell the good and bad apart.
