Sheezan Khan reveals he is on BAIL in Tunisha’s death case; says, 'Have to go for hearings..'

In December 2022, Sheezan Khan's life changed dramatically following the heartbreaking death of his Ali Baba co-star, Tunisha Sharma. Accused of abetting her suicide, he faced arrest and legal challenges. Now, two years later, Sheezan has provided an update on the case during a recent appearance on the podcast ‘Motor Mouth.’ He shared that while he is currently out on bail, he still has to attend court hearings as the legal proceedings continue.

The situation is that I am out on bail, the case is still going on. The dates come and I have to go for the hearing. However, the court has been really kind in letting me work and let me go outside of India. I had done Khatron with the court’s permissions. My lawyer has been putting a lot of effort into ki main baizzat bari ho ja, un, and the case ends soon. India mein cases bohot zyada hai aur judges bohot kam. Paisa toh definitely lagta hai. A lot of people were on bail, but they didn’t have money to pay for it

Sheezan Khan's Ali Baba co-star, Tunisha Sharma, was tragically found hanging in her makeup room on December 24, 2022. Following this heartbreaking incident, Khan was arrested on December 25 after Tunisha's mother accused him of abetting her daughter's suicide, claiming he had 'used' her. Reports indicated that Khan and Sharma had broken up just 15 days prior to her death, but he was granted bail in March 2023.

After a significant hiatus from the screen, Khan made his comeback with Khatron Ke Khiladi in 2024, and later appeared in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. However, during a podcast, Sheezan candidly shared that the journey back to the spotlight was far from easy for him.

“It was difficult to come back after everything that had happened. At one point, even producers were scared to take me. Those who really know me well were also trying but then one thing or the other kept happening. I had even fallen severely ill, I suffered from a respiratory tract infection. I had a show and the next day I was supposed to shoot I got a call from the production but then I had to refuse it because of my health. It took me a long time to get back in shape for the same," he said.
