Sheeba Akashdeep says that working in TV, films and OTT differs due to the timing given to made films. The actress adds that on TV, less time is given, while there is more time to film on other platforms.

“The main difference is the speed at which things happen. In Bollywood, making a movie takes a long time, and you shoot less footage in a day compared to television. In theatre, you need to be quick and alert because time is limited, and the show has to go on air. This helps improve your skills and memory because you have to remember a lot of lines for a live audience. Nowadays, the lines between TV and Bollywood are getting blurred as all the mediums are merging. This shift indicates a growing recognition of the impact and reach of television in the entertainment industry. Bollywood, once hesitant about television, now embraces it as a valuable platform to connect with a broader audience. The symbiotic relationship between Bollywood and television not only benefits the industry but also offers audiences a diverse range of content across different mediums,” she says.

Talking about the collaboration of TV and films, she says, “In my viewpoint, this integration reflects the evolving dynamics of the entertainment landscape, where collaboration between Bollywood and television has become a mutually beneficial trend. However, Bollywood actors are considered special because a successful movie can make you famous for decades. On the other hand, in television, your popularity lasts only as long as your show is on air. That's the main difference, but overall, the boundaries between these mediums are fading for actors.”

She is yet to work on OTT. “I haven't started working in OTT because I haven't received any exciting offers yet. I'm waiting for the right opportunity. I really want to do action roles, like playing a cop, and use my fitness in OTT projects. I'm interested in doing something intense as well. Just because I'm satisfied with what I've done so far doesn't mean I'm done—I still have the hunger to do a lot more,” she says.
