Shastri Sisters to bid adieu on August 8!

Shakuntalam Telefilms' popular show Shastri Sisters, though was shifted to a new time slot could not garner the expected ratings resulting to its exit on television.

Our source informs us, "Shastri Sisters will air its last episode on August 8 and will wrap up its shoot by the end of this month. The new show that will replace Shastri Sisters is Film Farm's upcoming venture Ishq Ka Rang Safed starring Mishal Raheja and Vidya Sinha."

One of the sisters from the show, Devyanki AKA Sonal Vengurelkar gets emotional while she tells us about her journey.  The actress quips, "It's been a wonderful journey and we have found a new family on this show with whom we are about to watch movies, and go out on dinners with.  Hence, I will miss this once the show gets over. But apart from this I would really like to thank our fans for their love and support that has brought us so far."

Indeed Shastri Sisters will be missed on Television!
