Television actor Sharhaan Singh, who was last seen in Sony Entertainment Television's historical show 'Bharat Ka Veer Putra...Maharana Pratap' and also in an episode of &TV's 'Agent Raghav - Crime Branch' will soon enter Zee TV's popular show 'Lajwanti'.

Our source informs, "Sharhaan Singh will be seen playing a strict police officer from Pakistan. His character is inspired from Manoj Bajpayee's character of 'Veer Zara'. The lead couple of the show will bump into Sharhaan, while trying to cross the India-Pakistan border.

We contacted Sharhaan who confirmed the news, "Yes, I am playing the character of a Police officer who will meet the couple when they attempt to cross the border."

He added, "Today is the first day of my shoot and I am feeling excited playing a cop. The character seems very interesting and I am enjoying it."
