Shantanu Maheshwari can easily be touted as one of the audience's hot favourite and popular contestants amongst the current lot of contestants in Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa Season 9.

And in one of the upcoming episodes of the show, the theme of which is 'Regional Challenge', judge Jacqueline's 'cutie' will turn into a Mumbaiyya Dabbawala while his choreographer Alisha, will be seen playing the role of a tourist.

The duo will be seen performing to the hit Marathi flick Sairat's popular song 'Jhingat.'

A source shares, "This performance is Shantanu's tribute to the city of Mumbai, which fulfilled all his dreams, which he had never even imagined, would really happen, after shifting here from Kolkata."

The judges were mighty impressed with Shantanu's act. Revealed the source, "Their Maharashtrian style performance was full of energy and totally awesome, which fetched them a standing ovation from the audience as well as the other contestants! Ganesh Hegde even mentioned that he felt like getting up and dancing while watching Shantanu perform on stage. Karan Johar, who absolutely loved his performance told him that he earned his 10 points from him for the amazing act."

Shantanu and Alisha scored a perfect 30 from the judges.
