Shantanu Maheshwari explores his roots in Rajasthan

The actor/dancer who has been working on various upcoming dance related projects with his dance crew, went on a much needed break to explore the colourful city, as well as enjoy some Rajasthani food! 

Besides exploring the famous Mehrangarh fort in the city, the actor who was last seen on Khatron Ke Khiladi: Pain In Spain also gorged on some yummy Rajasthani cuisine, as well as did some authentic shopping in the city's local market.

Speaking on the same, Shantanu said, "I am a marwari and my family has mainly been based from Rajasthan, so I was quite excited to go back to my roots and explore the city! The entire trip was a lovely experience with some great hospitality and very warm and welcoming people who took good care of us! Also, a much needed break for me, and one more city on my bucket list which I finally got to explore! The sightseeing bit with the forts was very interesting as there was so much to learn about, and the Rajasthani mirchi ke pakode, dal batti churma and makhania lassi were to die for! Overall I had a very interesting trip to the vibrant city."
