Shantanu Maheshwari and Desi Hoppers IMPRESS Derek Hough, Ne-Yo and Jennifer Lopez!

Actor Shantanu Maheshwari and his crew the Desi Hoppers consisting of Macedon Dmello, Rohan Virus, Niraj Lama, Nimit Kotian and Mohit Antony led by the crew's founder and dance director, Palki Malhotra have become the first ever Indian dance crew to compete on NBC's dance reality show World of Dance. The crew has already created quite a big buzz after their first performance aired on the show earlier this week.

The crew who performed quite a catchy and peppy act on Shape Of You, scored the highest in their round - a staggering 96/100 for the same, which was infact the opening act of the show. And if the numbers were not enough, judges Ne-Yo and Derek Hough and Jennifer Lopez were seen going gaga over the crew's performance!

Derek Hough even took to twitter to support and congratulate the crew on their very first act on the show and singer Ne-Yo who absolutely loved their performance, actually went on stage to shake a leg with the boys.

It's not only the judges who are loving the Desi Hoppers, but a lot of the American viewers too, who have in fact gone all out on social media to speak about the boys in appreciation and are loving the crew's enthusiasm and great vibe on the show!

Speaking to us about the great response, the crew is already receiving on the show, Shantanu excitedly shared, "The response we have already received after the first act itself has been very warm and overwhelming. In fact, for all of us! It's quite amazing to see a lot of the American viewers showing us so much love and support as well! As for the judges, that 96 on 100 they gave us is something we will cherish forever! And of course Ne-Yo dancing with us all on stage was definitely our happiest moment, and that too in the initial stages of the show, which was the cherry on the cake for us all."
