Shamita Shetty on what her exact equation with Raqesh Bapat is post 'Bigg Boss'

While Shetty went on to call Bapat her boyfriend multiple times in the show and the latter was also seen sitting with Shetty's mother during the finale as they welcomed her back, an official and clear stance was never made. Bigg Boss 15 might have ended but looking at actor Shamita Shetty's recent birthday bash, it seems some friendships from the show will be forever. The actor turned 43 years old yesterday and while her family was obviously there to celebrate this occasion, as expected the bash witnessed some Bigg Boss 15 friends of Shetty's coming in.

The likes of Nishant Bhat, Umar Riaz, Pratik Sehajpal, Rashami Desai and others came in and celebrated the lovely occassion. However, if there has been one impending question almost constantly through Bigg Boss OTT and Bigg Boss 15, is whether or not Shetty and actor Raqesh Bapat are together or not.

While Shetty went on to call Bapat her boyfriend multiple times in the show and the latter was also seen sitting with Shetty's mother during the finale as they welcomed her back, an official and clear stance was never made. In an exclusive interview with us, we asked the actor what exactly is the stance right now.

To this, she said, "The thing is, Raqesh and I got to know each other on a show, a reality show. The outer world is entirely different. I barely got to spend any other time with him. After Bigg Boss OTT, I immediately went back to Bigg Boss 15 and this time for four months. In such a long period of time, feelings can change, a lot can happen. Hence, time and again, I would keep asking 'is he still my boyfriend?', 'has he got somebody else?' (laughs)."

She added, "There were so many emotions I was dealing with inside but I was certain about one thing that I definitely want to get to know him better. I wanted to know how he was outside the house and that is something I will get to do now. So, to put a word on it, yes, we are together right now and I am hopeful for a positive future. He definitely has a lot of attributes that I love and he is a solid guy. So, I want to get to know him better now and see where it takes us."

Bigg Boss 15 saw Shetty being eliminated on the 4th place while Tejasswi Prakash went on to win the show.
