Actress Shamita Shetty recently got herself involved in a road mishap, where her car was rammed into by a motorist who was accompanied by a couple of others. The driver named Darshan Sawant was driving her car and the road rage elevated sooner than expected.

Taking place near Viviana Mall in Thane on Tuesday, the altercation saw Shamita being verbally abused and her driver being slapped by the opposite people. According to reports, the police have registered a case against those three people who are also unidentifiable currently. An officer from the Rabodi Police Station mentioned how Shamita was there for some work when this incident took place around 1:30 pm.

When Darshan stopped the car to look at the damage, the trio on the other vehicle accused and picked up a fight with him. He also mentioned that he was slapped and threatened too.

A case under sections 279, 323, 504, 506, 427 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered and the car involved in the accident has been identified.

Shamita is currently seen as a wildcard contestant on Colors' stunt-based reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi - Jigar Pe Trigger.
