Shama back with Sony for her Second Innings..

Shama Sikander, who shot to fame with Sony's show Yeh Meri Life Hai, is back on small screen with YRF TV's show Seven.

After gaining the much deserved popularity for her role as Pooja, she went on to try her luck in movies and managed to do some cameos in films like Mann and Prem Agann. She also appeared in some music videos. But none matched up to the popularity that she got through Yeh Meri Life Hai.

Shama is now back for her scond innings with Sony Entertainment Channel, and will be seen on a sci-fi fiction show Seven, produced by YRF TV which will be aired from Jan 1, 2010.

She will be seen playing the role of a super heroine as Shunya. Talking about the comeback Shama said, "I believe that, as the growth of a daily soap is gradual so is the process of fame and recognition. I prefer to be on television right now since I am super excited about my new role as a super heroine of the small screen. It's an amazing role and I simply couldn't resist being a part of Seven. It's one of a kind and I am glad to have been selected for the role."

We definitely hope Shama recreates the magic in her super heroine avatar!
