Sham Mashalkar enjoys his new look on Sasural Simar Ka!

Talented actor Sham Mashalkar, who is currently seen as Calender on Colors' popular show Sasural Simar Ka, has donned a new look of a Muslim Maula for an upcoming track of the show where in order to hide his identity from Rajbeer (Siddharth Vasudev).

We heard that though Sham is having difficulties while shooting in his new look but at the same time, he is having a blast on the sets with his co-stars. When we asked Sham about his experience, he said, "I am very much enjoying playing the character of Calender and the dialogues are full of comedy. I am finding it difficult to shoot with this new look because of the scorching heat. Putting a beard and shooting with it becomes very difficult as it keeps coming out but now I getting comfortable shooting with it. I sit in front of the fan all the time and I avoid smiling and laughing but Sara (Sara Khan), Manish (Manish Raisinghan) and all my co-stars keep cracking jokes just to make me laugh and I just hold my beard with my hand and then I laugh. We enjoy a lot on shoot."

Sham is also feeling happy donning this new look on the show. He added, "When everyone on the sets first saw me in Muslim look, they all started greeting me like a Muslim Maula. There were many people who came to see our shoot, so none of them recognized me as Calender. They all thought that I am a Muslim. It was a big compliment for me that no one can recognize me."
