Shalin Bhanot reveals the reason behind joining 'Bigg Boss' after the shoot of 'Inspector Avinash'

Shalin Bhanot has been winning hearts with his stint in Colors TV's show 'Bekaaboo.' The actor who plays the character of 'Rakshas' in the show has recently dropped the poster of his upcoming web series 'Inspector Avinash,' which will go on air today on Voot. 

Giving us a little insight into the show and his character, Shalin said, ''My character name is Baljeet and I am playing a special task officer. Our team will consist of 5 officers. Honestly, this character is totally opposite to what I am in real life. He is serious and believes in all work and no play. It is a very rarely written role. The show is based in U.P and is also based on a true story.''

Shalin shot for 'Inspector Avinash' before his stint in Bigg Boss 16. Talking about the same he said, ''When reporters came in the Bigg Boss house and kept asking me how did I feel upon returning on screen after 2 years, I found it funny, but I wasn't allowed to speak about the show so I kept quiet. Honestly, I shot for this show for 2 long years and we worked very hard.''

Further spilling some interesting facts about the shoot of 'Inspector Avinash,' Shalin said, ''We shot for 120 days and we travelled to 18 different cities for the shoot of our show. I had travelled so much that by the time the shoot ended, I said I do not want to travel anymore and hence I decided to do Bigg Boss. (Chuckles)''

When we asked Shalin about his experience of working with Randeep Hooda, the actor had all nice things to say about him. Shalin said, ''Oh, he is a wonderful person. Any actor who is hungry to work, should work with him. He will step out of his comfort zone to guide people. When 2 actors work together, they will rarely step out of their comfort zone to help someone. It is not easy to step out of your own craft to help someone else.''
