Shaleen and Daljit to wed on December 9th..

We already know that Shaleen Bhanot and Daljit Kaur are all set to tie the knot in December. However, on the eve of Diwali the couple announces their wedding date to Telly Buzz.

A very elated Daljit who is right now in her home town Pune says, "We are getting married on 9th December in Jabalpur, the home town of Shaleen. Engagement will take place on 8th December, and my Mehendi and Sangeet celebrations will be on 7th December at Jabalpur".

A very interesting aspect of their wedding is that Shaleen is taking utmost interest in selecting the lehenga for Daljit, and the same goes with Daljit who has selected the Sherwani for Shaleen. "It is very unique as Shaleen has selected everything, starting from the color of my lehenga to the fabric to be used, the work to be done on it etc. He exactly knows what I will want to wear on the D-day. In the same way, I am working on his sherwani, and pay a visit to the shop frequently to see how it is being made. Both our wedding sets are almost 80% done".

However, Daljit and Shaleen are having mood swings as they are missing each other. "It has just been five days since I came to Pune. But it seems as though its been a year since I saw Shaleen. Our parents are teasing us, as they can see very well that we are missing each other (smiles). Having said this, I am hoping that Shaleen will give me a surprise tomorrow by dropping in at my house in Pune", states Daljit.

Shaleen on the other hand is fully engrossed in his wedding preparations. "It is easier to get married, but very difficult to organize one (smiles). Now that the date is declared as 9th December, we need to speed up things. I am taking  auditions for caterers, decorators etc. It's real fun, and am enjoying it. I was never into selecting attire for ladies; I have not even done that for my sister. But I have gotten into so much of detail to select Daljit's shaadi ka lehenga.. We are now waiting for the D-day and want to seek all the blessings and well wishes from our fans", says Shaleen.
