Shakti: Jigyasa Singh To Play The New Female Lead?

Colors’ long-running show Shakti has been a favorite among viewers for its unique storyline and meaningful narration. Brilliant performances by lead actors Vivian D’sena, Rubina Dilaik and Kamya Punjabi have impressed the viewers time and again. However, the makers have now decided to revamp the show by taking a generation leap. After Vivian’s exit, Rubina will also make an exit from the show very soon. Though, because of good TRPs, the makers postponed the leap earlier. 

Now, according to the latest media reports, we hear that actress Jigyasa Singh has been approached to play the new female lead post the leap. However, when we tried contacting the actress for confirmation, she remained unavailable for any comments. Jigyasa Singh who rose to fame with Colors’ popular show Thapki Pyaar Ki was last seen playing a prominent role in Star Plus’ supernatural drama Nazar. 

We earlier also reported about Splitsvilla fame Simba Nagpal being roped in to play the male lead in the show. 

As informed by us previously, the show will take the leap sometime in January 2020.
