The latest news that has been reported in a leading portal is that Shailesh Lodha, who plays the role of Taarak has decided to quit the show. A source close to the portal reported that Shailesh has not been shooting for the show for the last one month and has no plans to return to the show.

Also, it is mentioned that Shailesh is not happy with the contract renewal. The production house is trying its best to convince Shailesh to stay back. However, he has already made his mind to quit the show. His character Taarak Mehta is one of the main characters of the show and found connection with the masses.
