Shahid turned down his mother

Bollywood's dandy boy Shahid Kapoor has been seen sharing a close relationship with all of his family. It was unexpected then, when Shahid turned down a film by his mother Neelima Azim, that, after agreeing to act in his father Pankaj Kapoor's Mausam.


After Shahid turned down Neelima's offer, she covered up for him saying that he was too big a star and that she was on a hunt for a fresher face to portray her protagonist. However, sources reveal that Shahid turned down the offer as he didn't like the script.


It is know meanwhile, that for the female lead Neelima has approached Amrita Rao, who has been wishfully linked to Shahid in the past by countless fans.  As for the male she will be paired opposite, the search is still on.
