Shahid Kapoor is Deepika's new on screen husband?

After Deepika Padukone reportedly refused to work with Vicky Kaushal who was signed to play Deepika's husband, King of Chittor in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's another magnum opus 'Padmavati', the director has to reconsider the cast! And it looks like he did that!

According to the reports in a leading daily, Bhansali has approached Shahid Kapoor for the role of 'Chittor's King' but no official statement has been announced yet. Deepika plays the lead role of 'Rani Padmavati' and she shares some intimate scenes with her husband, King of Chittor - Raja Rawal Ratan Singh. This was the reason she asked for a bigger actor to play the role of the King.

Well, you might think even Ranveer Singh was the part of the film then relax, he is still! He will be seen as Allauddin Khilji in the film.

We have seen the magic Ranveer - Deepika created on screen and Shahid has his own charisma, so just think what will happen when all three of them come together! An epic!

P.S: Vicky was even seen sporting a mustache which was required for the role, where ever he went!
