Shaheer Sheikh talks about the ongoing insider v/s outsider debate, Bollywood and more

The insider-outsider debate has been one that has come under the scanner once again and while Bollywood has been at the centre of this debate, everyone in the entertainment industry has been talking about it by and large. And recently, Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke actor Shaheer Sheikh also got talking about the same, but he did reveal how he was never short on work.

He went on to reveal how it never mattered that he was an outsider when he came to get work. About the debate, he added that he did not even get the time to think about this enough and how he has always said yes to the offers he got. In addition, he also said that he will be contacted if and when someone wants him to play a role in films and it will happen if he is destined to play it.

Among other things, he also spoke about how his show Mahabharat changed his life and added that it is all planned and you cannot really do much about it. On being asked about the insecurities of not getting projects, he denied that saying he always has projects at hand when his present show is nearing its end.  

He further added, ''To say no to someone is really difficult for me. It is the most draining part of my career.'' However, he did add how he denies characters which are not good even if he is reluctant about saying now. He also got talking about personal time, and family time. He added how work gets difficult and busy, and said, ''To be there with your family, for me that’s the biggest challenge. I want to cut down on my work and find a little time for myself.''
