REAL REASON: Here's why the clash between Shah Rukh Khan- Vidya Balan was averted...

As reported earlier, Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dear Zindagi' and Vidya Balan's 'Kaahani 2' were all set to clash at the Box office. But, the film makers averted the clash and decided release separately.

Now, we got the real reason as to why the clash has been averted.

While the movie starring Vidya Balan and Arjun Rampal, was scheduled to release on the 25th November this year, producer Jayantilal Gada of Pen India, decided to shift the date in order to avoid a clash at the box office.

However, while most would look to avoid a competitive clash, the producer took this strategic decision in synchronicity with Alia Bhatt's dad Mahesh Bhatt, a filmmaker he has shared a close association with over the years.

It was recently announced that Alia Bhatt starrer Dear Zindagi will hit theater screens on the 25th November and producers Jayantilal Gada and Mahesh Bhatt had discuss about not releasing the two films together.The makers of Kahaani 2 then decided to shift the date of the suspense thriller drama to 2nd December.

Produced by Kushal Kantilal Gada, Dhaval Jayantilal Gada & Aksshay Jayantilal Gada and Sujoy Ghosh, Kahaani 2 - Durga Rani Singh , directed by Sujoy Ghosh is scheduled to release 2nd December 2016.

Said Mahesh Bhatt, "I have known Jyantilal Gada for several years now and we are like family. Both Kahaani2 and dear Zindagi are unique films and deserve a solo release.And it will also help both films in the long run."

When contacted Mr. Jayantilal Gada said, "Bhatt Sahab is associated with us for our leading TV shows; Udann and Naamkarann but more importantly he and Alia are like family to us. There can never be any competition within families, hence I have decided to release Kahaani2- Durga Rani Singh on 2nd Dec."

@Pekka thanks for judging! ]Yes you are right! Salman would have won the so called battle aka clash! But not because his movie would've been better than Raees (u dont know how Raees is as it isn't even released yet) but because of 3 things
1. Raees is a controversial movie, any sensible person knows that this movie won't get a normal release! You do remember what happened to Dilwale and My Name Is Khan all the protests ban boycott etc? Same would've happened to Raees while Sultan would get a away easily and won the clash! Especially after the Mahira and Shiv Sena controversy we saw how people started boycotting Raees on social media!
2. Dono movies mein business ka loss ho sakta tha! You remember what happened to Don-Jaaneman clash? Or OSO-Saawariya? JTHJ-SOS? Dilwale-BM (BM won domestic but ww is won by Dilwale despite negative reviews, wom, ban, protestations, Dilwale rocked in overseas this shows what Indians did to their own superstar in their own country).
3. Ab tumhare Salman Khan ne Eid pe kabza kiya hai koi kya kar sakta hai. This shit happens only in India that an actor is owning a holiday to release his movie!
Yes non-Holiday mein jo FAN ke saath hua woh Jai Ho aur Talaash ke saath bhi same hi hua tha kuch yaad hai???
SRK aleast ek holiday aise pakad ke nahi bhait jata he releases his movie whenever he thinks it's right, Fan 15 April Dear Zindagi 25 Nov Raees in january The Ring release date is not yet confirmed because he is not Salman or Aamir who books Eid/Christmas even before confirming the movie title! ]Honestly I'm glad Raees and Sultan didn't clash! Isme Raees ka nuksaan aur Sultan ka faida hojata easily!
If collections decide the popularity of an actor then Rajinikanth sir is a bigger superstar than Salman Khan because his movie Kabali released on a Non-Holiday and leaving Sultan far behind!

You come across as a very desperate human being. Always looking to hype up anything related to SRK whilst downplaying everyone else.

We both know if SRK wanted to release his movie on eid he could have but be backed off knowing it would have hugely effected the business of his film. Screens would have been shared or one of the actors would have got a few more then the other. But at the end of the day the better movie would have lasted longer at theaters and made more money.

SRK backed off knowing Salman would have won the battle. Eid is associated with Salman Khan now,

Also going on about Salman needing Eid for his films to do well is complete bull---. SRK and many other top actors try to release their movies on these sort of holiday occasions.

How did SRK's film Fan do after it was released on a non-holiday? Yep it was a flop compared to the sums of money Salman has been bringing in. Also SRK's movie Raees will come out on republic day meaning meaning it will get a good week of huge income.

Pekka ji zyada pheka mat karo! When Sultan took the most screens then whats left for Raees? How is it possible to release two big movies that require more than 4k screens per movie? One has to step back! Clearly Salman didn't had the balls to give the release date (Eid) to his "friend" SRK kyun ki Eid hai toh Salman Khan the superstar hai Eid nahi toh Salman Khan kuch bhi nahi! He knows that very well especially since 2010 and I am sure you too!

If he and Aditya averted the clash, Raees wouldn't have faced so much drama! Abhi protestation aur ban hona baaki hai.
