Several MUAs and 2.5 hours makes Salman Khan look older in Bharat

Salman Khan's Bharat is creating a huge buzz with every recurring day. From the exit of Priyanka to the casting of Katrina, from the catchy Slow Motion song to the older look of Salman, all has made it to the headlines and created a humongous impact of the viewers. But the most talked about was the transformation of Khan. On 15th April, Salman shared a photo of him sporting a much older look and in no time fan went gaga over it. 

The poster was a perfect tease to the audience. Director Ali Abbas Zaffar told DNA about this transformation, he revealed, “The prosthetics were designed by a UK-based company and executed with Indian make-up artistes. SK sir also tried over 20 different kinds of beards and moustaches for this look. It’s a very tedious process, but he would be patient. It would take him two-and-a-half hours to get ready. After the narration, he understood that not only did the script demand it, but this look is also very significant in keeping with his character graph. He was very supportive about the idea and the entire process.”

Abbas has a long time association with Salman. He has directed the actor in  Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. Bharat is the journey of a country and a man, who grow old together. Along with Salman, the film features Tabu, Jackie Shroff, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover and Nora Fatehi amongst others. And it will hit the cinema halls on the 5th of June, 2019.
