Sayantani Ghosh on getting married to Anugrah Tiwari on December 5

We can officially say that wedding season is here and we have an array of weddings and even engagements to look forward to. As we know, starting from the month of November till around February the following year, one wedding follows another almost everywhere. And needless to say that the showbiz industry is no different. We already knew that there are several high-profiled weddings in the entertainment industry as well be it in the television or in the film industry. Talking about the TV industry, we recently reported about how actor Ayush Viz of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame got married and we also reported how actor Kunal Verma and Puja Banerjee is all set to tie the knot as well.

And now yet another name is added to the list and this time it is in the form of actor Sayantani Ghosh. The actor, who is currently seen as the leading lady in Tera Yaar Hoon Main is all set to tie the knot with Anugrah Tiwari, with whom she has been in love for the past eight years. Now, the couple will get married on 5th December 2021.

The wedding will take place in Sayantani’s hometown, Kolkata. The couple will get engaged on the same day. The reception will be held on December 9 in Jaipur, which is where Tiwari hails from. Talking about the details of their wedding soon with ETimes TV, Ghosh said, “I have always wanted my wedding to be intimate, simple, heartfelt and honest, as that’s how my journey with Anugrah has been. Besides, while growing up, I have often seen the bride and the groom go through so much pressure. I want to enjoy my wedding, be carefree, mingle with the guests and eat to my heart’s content. While growing up, I would tell my mother that two must-haves on the menu at my wedding are paan and ice cream. That’s what I am going to be eating the most at my wedding,” she shares, adding, “The day should be a celebration of our togetherness and the ties between our families, and I don’t want anything to take that away. We have had our share of ups and downs, but each experience has made our relationship stronger. We believe that the only thing that matters, in the end, is our love for each other and our families, and the presence of our loved ones. So, I want to enjoy this special day only with our family and close ones.”

Talking about her bridal look, Ghosh will be ditching those heavy lehengas and instead opt for a beautiful sari. She concluded saying, “I have always wanted to wear something that I can cherish and use for the rest of my life. I love saris and have always envisioned myself as a bride in a red Banarasi sari with kohled eyes and sindoor. My naani, who passed away last year, had given me a sari, which I plan to wear for one of the functions.”

The couple plans to host a party for her friends in Mumbai at a later stage.
