Sasuma takes a halt; main lead hospitalized

Last week we broke the news about Hats Off Production making a fresh show for Star Desh which has been moved to Star Plus due to a shift in its concept.

Accordingly, to production was pulling up its socks to eagerly launch the show and had also started shooting for it but the latest we hear is that the shooting has come to a halt.

A source chirps, "It's true that the shooting for Sasuma has come to a standstill and not for the reason of Shradh but because one of the leads Bhamini Oza Gandhi has been hospitalized since few days. While shooting, Bhamini use to faint on the sets and her health started getting worse with every passing day. Therefore she was admitted to the hospital and got detected with some tumor for which she underwent a surgery. She is still in the hospital."

"The production therefore is waiting for her recovery as Bhamini is the best suited for the role. The channel has asked the production to search for an option but the production wants her back on board," signs off the source.
