Sargam Koushal wins Mrs. World 2022, brings back glory home after 21 years

Sargam Kaushal, representing India, was on Sunday crowned the Mrs World at a gala event in Las Vegas, USA. Kaushal trumped contestants from 63 countries to bring the title back to India after 21 years.rs World 2021 Shaylyn Ford of the U.S. presented the crown to Mumbai-based Mrs. Koushal at a ceremony held at Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino on Saturday evening. Mrs Polynesia was named the first runner-up, followed by Mrs Canada as the second runner-up. 

The Mrs India pageant announced the winner on its official Instagram page on Sunday. “The long wait is over, it’s after 21 years we have the CROWN back!” read the post. While Mrs. Koushal said, “We’ve got the crown back after 21-22 years. I’m so excited. Love you India, love you world".

Well, actor-model Aditi Govitrikar, who brought the Mrs India crown to India in 2001, also shared a congratulatory message on the unverified page of the Mrs World pageant.

Talking about Sargam she is the daughter of a retired Chief Manager, Bank of India,Kaushal did her schooling from Presentation Convent Senior Secondary School, Gandhi Nagar Jammu and graduated from Women College, Gandhi Nagar Jammu.Thereafter, she did her Masters in English Literature from Jammu University and B Ed from Government B Ed College Jammu.

She has previously worked as a teacher in Vizag. A teacher by profession, content writer, model and painter, the 31-year-old Kaushal is married to Jammu guy Aditya Manohar Sharma, a Lieutenant Commander in Indian Navy, presently posted in Mumbai.
