Sandeep Kumar to enter ‘Thapki Pyaar Ki 2’ as a negative character

Colors’ show ‘Thapki Pyaar Ki 2’ is getting the love of the viewers. The show is produced by Shoonya Square Productions and has a stellar star cast including actors like Jigyasa Singh, Aakash Ahuja, Jaya Bhattacharya among others.

The show recently completed a journey of 50 episodes. There was a celebration on the sets of the show recently as the cast and crew cut a cake to celebrate the completion of 50 episodes. The current track of the show revolves around Purab’s mother wanting to oust Thapki from their lives as she has now learned that she stammers.

Well, now, the show is set to witness an interesting new entrant in the show who is set to bring more trouble for lead couple Purab and Thapki. According to a report in ETimes, actor Sandeep Kumar has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the show. Sandeep has also worked in Shoonya Square’s Star Bharat show ‘Tera Mera Saath Rahe’.

Confirming the buzz to ETimes, Sandeep said, “I will be seen essaying the character of Rohit in the show. It is a negative lead character. I will be seen as Sargam Singhania's (Jhanvi Jaiswal) boyfriend. She is the sister of protagonist Purab (Aakash Ahuja) and my presence in the show will bring an altogether new twist to the plot."
