Sanaya Irani out, Srishty Rode in for Deepti Bhatnagar's next!

As we reported earlier about Sanaya Irani being approached for a new SitCom by Deepti Bhatnagar, Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi on SAB TV. But with the latest developments, the new name has been finalized. Well she is none other than the Saraswatichandra girl, Srishty Rode.

Says our credible source, "Srishty Rode has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Romit Raj. She will be playing the character of Piya Ahuja, a married 25 years old lady, an idle daughter-in-law of the house who tries new things like making new dishes, taking new initiative every time to impress her In-laws. She will be shooting for the promo tomorrow."

Srishty confirming the same says, "As an actor I always wanted to do something new and different, wanted to show my versatility and talent. And comedy is something I never tried my hands on. This is a very light hearted comedy show and being on SAB TV, its shows are never drama oriented it is just comedy and I am really looking forward for my journey as I know it will be totally happening over here. The channel SAB TV will cater me with an altogether different audience and I will get to interact with a lot more other people. I always wanted to be part of this channel and Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi is giving me that honour."

The happy-go-lucky-girl in real talking about the character adds, "I am playing a bubbly girl who likes to experiment different things every time. Infact I can somewhat relate to my character very closely as in real life too I keep experimenting things but she does it genuinely and I do it for fun sake."
